Brignogan, near Plouneour Trez, lies along the 'Coast of Legends'. Nestling at the far end of a deep natural bay, Brignogan-Plage continues to be an elegant seaside town rich in contrast. A rough Pagan country of shipwreckers and seaweed gatherers, the Coast of Legends is populated with monstrous animal-shaped rocks. Nevertheless a sublime setting, a coastline dotted with villas whose architecture is typical of the beginning of the century, alternating with long stretches of fine white sandy beaches, little inlets and gigantic rocks. This place captivates board sports enthusiasts, romantics who like wild coastal walks, and those who just love life. There are ten or so small beaches in Brignogan. Nearby villages slightly inland from the coast, such as Guissény or Kerlouan, are real havens, the realm of walkers and cyclists. The Dibennou Cave, an amazing chaos of huge rocks, a bird reserve, and the dunes of Keremma offer various leisure opportunities, from peaceful walks or horse riding to the furious practice of 'funboarding'. Alternatively take a boat trip to admire the 'golden coast' from the water, or choose from many sporting and cultural activities.
